When all else fails... run!

Running yesterday was something that I just did not want to do!

Most of the time I'm ready to run and have no problems getting my butt out on the street... but man, yesterday was tough!!

First, I felt like crap, had a huge headache and was nauseous (probably having something to do with the several drinks I'd had the night before :/ ).  Second, did I mention I felt terrible?? lol

Finally, I decided that I already felt icky, how much worse would running really make it? ..... Turns out it honestly didn't make me feel much crappier at all... it almost, and I said ALMOST, made me feel a bit better.  <--- That's a sentence that I never thought I'd say!

So, because I was a bit under the weather, I did a little over 1.5 miles and felt like that was a good accomplishment for the day.

I should be back at 2 to 2.5 miles this week, then next week I'll be back up to 3 miles, then I'll keep on adding mileage from there! :)

My knee is holding up well, thanks to my fancy Nike knee brace.  I also got some great new running shorts that are so comfortable, and they were on clearance for $5 a piece! Can't beat that kind of deal!

For the next few weeks I'm hoping to keep doing great in my training and to keep losing weight and inches and get to my goals of health and happiness.

I'll be running tonight, and can't wait to go for the two miles... who knows, maybe I'll just run til I can't run anymore.
