For those of you following my adventure into the world of training and running in preparation for the 3M Half Marathon Relay thanks for support and here's your update! :)
I'm not completely healed from the wipeout I had last Thursday, but the scars are forming nicely (adding to the dozen others I've collected on my knees), and the swelling is almost non-existant.
I ran 1.4 miles today and walked an additional .2 miles to cool down. Though my knee is slightly uncomfortable to run on... I know it's just from being a bit of a bum, and really trying to stay off of it for the past couple of days.
It was so nice to be outside and running again because I've felt like such a couch potato! I hope to be back to training with 3 miles like I was before this silly injury happened in just a few days or week tops.
I hope to bring you guys some more positive and wonderful news in the days to come as I get over this injury and continue my journey into health and happiness.
